Police said they are searching for a suspect responsible for a bank robbery in Auburndale late last month. The robbery took place just after 12:30 p.m. at a Flushing Savings Bank, located at 188-08 Hollis Court Boulevard in Auburndale, on Oct. 25. The suspect passed a demand note and fled with an undetermined amount of money, police said. The man was described as a 5-foot-8 man in his late 30s, who was estimated to weigh around 180 pounds. He was wearing a white hat, grey sweatshirt and black backpack. Anyone with information should call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-8477.
