Queens Farmers Markets Reopen Following Coronavirus Closures
The Queens County Farm Museum's seasonal produce stand is among several farmers markets reopening across the borough.

FLORAL PARK, QUEENS — From beets and broccolini to peppers and potatoes, the reopening of several Queens greenmarkets is bringing the borough's residents a kaleidoscope of new produce options.
The Queens County Farm Museum last week reopened its seasonal markets at its northeastern Queens home and Jamaica Hospital Medical Center for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic forced the farm to close to the public in March.
New offerings include Dulcina flat beans, Touchstone golden beets, DeCicco broccolini, Savoy cabbage, Romanesco cauliflower, dandelion greens, escarole, horseradish, Buena Mulata hot peppers and San Marzano tomatoes, according to a news release.
