Silicon Valley-Based Coding School To Open Bayside Location
A Silicon Valley-based coding school is bringing its kids' computer programming classes to Bayside.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — A Silicon Valley-based coding school is bringing its kids' computer programming classes to Bayside.
Called theCoderSchool, the franchise will open on Bell Boulevard on Sept. 7, according to a press release. It is one of three new locations in the greater New York City area opening this fall.
The school will offer classes for children aged 7 to 18 in such programming languages as HTML, CSS, Python and Javascript.

Noreen Kazi and Nisha Bhalla, who run the coding school's locations in Syosset and Roslyn in New York, will head up the Bayside school at 36–35 Bell Blvd. in Suite 104.
"Learning how to program computers is an incredibly valuable skill and one that's demand is steadily increasing exponentially in every industry," Kazi said in a statement. "Through theCoderSchool's project-based approach we strive to improve kids' logic, ideation and creative thinking skills, while preparing them for a successful future."

Founded in 2014, theCoderSchool now has 40 schools in twelve states across the country, according to a spokesperson.
