The men broke into the church and yanked the wall-mounted televisions off the walls before running off with the boxes, police said.

DOUGLASTON, QUEENS — Two men broke into a Douglaston church and stole multiple televisions at the beginning of this month, police said.

The duo forced their way into Saint Sarkis Church, an Armenian church located on 234th Street near 38th Drive, by breaking the lock on the church's side basement door at about 1:45 a.m. on March 7, according to the NYPD.

Once inside the men yanked four wall-mounted televisions off the church's walls and ran off with the electronics in hand, the police said.
