This Week In Little Neck Gas Prices
Talk of a "leveling-off" of gas prices does little to curtail the pain at area pumps
Though at least one leading analyst is predicting an end to the biggest spikes in the cost of oil, gas prices continued their long march upward at Little Neck-Douglaston service stations.
In the last two weeks, the national average price of a gallon of regular gas rose 11.5 cents. In the New York metro area, the average cost at the pump is 16.8 cents higher than two weeks ago, according to the American Automobile Association.
