What bubble? Gas prices across area still high despite recent plummet in commodity prices
Prices at the pump were stuck in neutral this week, even as the market in commodities like silver, gold and oil took a big hit.
For the first time in months, the price of a barrel of oil on the New York market fell below $100 last week before rebounding to $102 a barrel at the end of today's trading.
Despite those declines, analysts say it will be some time before motorists notice a noticeable downward trend at the pump.
