Tuesday: 111th's Night Out Against Crime, Painting at National Art League

And the Douglaston Little Neck Library will host a crayon recycling program.

The 111th Precinct will host its annual Night Out Against Crime from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in front of Modell’s at the Douglaston Shopping Plaza, located at 242-02 61st Ave.

The event will include free food, a bouncy house and games for children, VIN etching and crime prevention information.

The Douglaston Little Neck Library will hold a crayon recycling program from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today. Local residents will be able to drop off crayons – whether broken or in good condition – that will then be recycled into new ones.

And the National Art League’s painting courses for the day include soft pastels and oils from 9:30 a.m. to noon and oils from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
