Tuesday: Oil Painting at National Art League, Crayon Recycling at the Library

The Douglaston Little Neck Library will host a crayon recycling program today from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Participants can drop off crayons, including broken ones, that will be recycled into new ones. The library is located at 249-01 Northern Blvd. in Douglaston.

And Douglaston’s National Art League, located at 44-21 Douglaston Parkway, will offer an oil painting class from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and a soft pastel and oil program from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The gallery's figure drawing class will run from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
