Use a Cell to Keep Kids Safe

AT&T shares high tech tips for keeping track of kids on Halloween.

AT&T also sent Patch some high tech tips to keep track of kids, and add to the fun of Halloween:

1. Charge phones to their fullest, and make sure parents, neighbors and emergency contacts are set in the contacts.

2. Parents can map out a familiar route for kids to follow, and not diverge from.  AT&T's FamilyMap allows parents to track kids from their computer or phone. A GPS device like the Garmin GTU 10 or Amber Alert GPS V3, can be slipped into trick-or-treating buckets so you know where they are at all times.  

3. Set up alarms to remind trick-or-treaters to text or call home between house stops.

4. Use your phone’s camera, video and voice recorders to capture spontaneous moments. AT&T's Video Share even allows you to see live video while on a voice call.
