Wednesday: Candidate Forum for Halloran's Seat, Climate Change Phone Bank

Northeast Queens for Action will host a climate change phone bank today at 7 p.m.

The Minkwon Center for Action will hold a candidates forum for the race for Councilman Dan Halloran’s seat at Flushing’s Temple Beth Sholom, located at 171-39 Northern Blvd., at 7 p.m.

The National Art League, located at 44-21 Douglaston Parkway, will host several classes today, including Exploring Innovative Techniques in Flower and Still Life Painting at 9:30 a.m. and Foster Artistic Disciplines in Watercolor Design, Technique and Color at 7 p.m.
