Week in Review: Golf, Fake Bath Salts and a Memorial Service

A look back at the notable events of the past week.

Good day, Little Neck! We hope you had a restful and/or incredibly exciting weekend. Here's our review of the week that was.

On Monday, we spent some time hitting the green at the Glen Head Country Club, where more than 100 golfers gathered for the Samuel Field Y's .

On Tuesday, we learned that legislation was passed to prevent the sale of , which state Assemblyman Edward Braunstein, D-Bayside, said are being used as recreational drugs.

Tuesday also marked the official beginning of summer. We here at Little Neck Patch have achieved all but professional heights when it comes to the art of outdoor napping, and took the liberty of passing our years of onto you.

On Thursday, members of the P.S. 221 community gathered to remember in the past year. Alexandra Falabella, Fajir Javid and Steven Petillo were honored with in the school's auditorium, and will be memorialized with a garden and plaque bearing their names at the front of the school.

And of course, the answer to this week's "A Look Around Little Neck" is the now-defunct Little Neck institution, Scobee Diner.
