Week in Review

It was a busy week for news in northeast Queens.

A Baruch College student from Oakland Gardens died while taking part in a fraternity ritual and the federal government moved to seize properties from a Little Neck family that was arrested on counterfeiting charges earlier this year.

And a Bay Terrace civic group blasted the New York Post for a column it wrote on “The Wolf of Wall Street” in which it described the community in an unflattering manner.

The federal government has moved to seize six properties from a Little Neck family that allegedly operated a massive counterfeit accessories ring.
