Woman Shot In Broad Daylight On Oakland Gardens Street: NYPD

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — A woman in Oakland Gardens was shot in the leg on Sunday afternoon, police reported.

A man shot a 45-year-old woman in the leg in front of 61-39 229 Street at 12:30 p.m. before he fled on 229th Street, authorities said.

The woman was transported to North Shore University Hospital and no arrests have been made, the NYPD said.
