Young Rockers to Play in Bayside This Afternoon

A group of Queens youngsters who attend a rock 'n roll camp in Bayside will play today at the local Knights of Columbus chapter.

MM Rock Camp will perform at 5 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, located at 35-30 Bell Blvd.

Michelle Marie, who runs the camp, said the young musicians will also play on Aug. 2 at Flushing's St. Andrew Avellino.

"We do everything from R&N and heavy metal to classic rock and The Beatles," she said of the camp's curriculum.

The band is made up if four guitarists, who hail Queens and Brooklyn, a drummer and a bass player.

"We get to learn and have fun at the same time," camper Ethan Dominguez said of MM.
