Affordable Apartments Up For Grabs In Bed-Stuy Require 60K Salary
A dozen or so apartments on Fulton Street are available on the affordable housing lottery, but only for those making at least $60,00 a year.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A dozen or so apartments have hit the affordable housing lottery on Fulton Street, but only for those making at least $60,000 per year, records show.
The 13 one-bedroom and two-bedroom spots are found in a building at 1068 Fulton St., found near Classon Avenue.
They will go to those who make 130 percent of the area's median income and will be open for applications until Sept. 6.

For the one-bedroom spots, that will mean those making at least $60,720 or $61,303 per year. The one-bedroom units include three priced at $1,771 per month and three priced at $1,788 per month, according to the listing.
The two-bedroom spots include one unit at $2,000 per month, four units at $2,121 per month and two units at $2,152 per month. For each of those, applicants should make at least $68,572, $73,063 or $73,783, respectively.

The Fulton Street building is pet-friendly and includes a shared laundry room, bike storage locker, a gym, a business center, a rooftop terrace, an outdoor terrace and an elevator.
It joins several other Bed-Stuy-area buildings on the affordable housing lottery, including one on Gates Avenue and another on Quincy Street, where applicants should make at least $83,349 per year to apply.
There are also more than 200 apartments up for grabs in Caton Flats, which was built at the former Flatbush Caton Market property on the Flatbush and Prospect Lefferts Gardens border.
Those apartments will go to those making as little as $22,000 per year.
