ALF Bakery Hosts Bed-Stuy Pop-Up Brunch
The new bakery, from an Arcade Bakery alum, is due to open in Chelsea Market in the spring. But you can catch a pop-up brunch preview.
BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — Brooklyn has two chances to catch the next hot bakery before you have to take the train to Chelsea.
Baker Amadou Ly is hosting two pop-up brunches at Bed-Stuy's Ostudio before he opens up his new spot, ALF Bakery, in Chelsea Market this spring.
Ly is a former pastry chef and chocolatier turned baker who has worked at many top kitchens in the city, including the hyper-popular Arcade Bakery, a Tribeca hotspot known for its legendary baguettes.

Now Ly is opening his own bakery, but first he's offering two brunch previews for Bed-Stuy first.
On two Saturdays — Feb. 25 and March 4 — ALF is hosting its pop-up brunches, where Ly will offer laminated baguettes, laminated brioche, pain de Campagne, miche, croissants, sandwiches, savory pie, quiche, and some sweets.
