Announcement: Adult Only Prom This Friday

This Friday, from 8:00 pm - Saturday at 12:00 am at M.S. 35, located at 272 MacDonough St (between Lewis Ave and Marcus Garvey), is "Come Dance the Night Away," an ADULT ONLY PROM.

This event is a charitable fundraiser for The Brooklyn Prom & Scholarship Project.

If you didn't go to your prom, or you want to relive your prom, or if you just want to support the cause, come on out, dance, spend your Friday night out doing something out of the box!

The evening will include:

* Music by The Legendary Chris Washington Rockin' the Prom with music from the 70's, 80's, 90's to 2011
* Dance Contest
* Crowning of a Prom King & Queen
* Photo Booth
* Corsages & Boutonnieres
* Raffles
* Light refreshments
* And Much More!

The proceeds from this event will be used to go toward the following:

• Tuxedo rental for sponsored Brooklyn teen males for their prom
• To supplement items needed but not donated for our Brooklyn teen girls for prom
• To create Scholarship Book Awards for high school seniors entering their freshman year of college to help off set the cost of books.
