The 70-unit apartment complex on DeKalb and Tompkins avenues is a half-mile walk from the Myrtle-Willoughby avenues G station and a one-mile walk from the Myrtle Avenue J, M, Z station.
The Atrium stands on the grounds of the former Kismet movie theater which was torn down in 2008. The space was developed by SSJ Realty LLC, Durukan Design designed the interior and Meltzer/Mandl Architects designed the building.
The brick, metal and wood exterior was built with wood salvaged after Superstorm Sandy struck New York City in 2012, according to the designers.
More information about the units and application process is available on the NYC Housing Connect Website.
