Bushwick Burglary: Police Search For 2 Suspects

The two men entered a first-floor apartment on July 21 at around 4:20 a.m. and took over $8,000 worth of technology, a police report said.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — Police are searching for two unidentified males in connection with a July 21 early morning burglary in the vicinity of Gates Avenue and Bushwick Avenue.

The New York Police Department received a report that at around 4:20 a.m. on July 21, the two men entered a 1st floor apartment in a multi-unit residential building via a rear basement window.

Once they entered the basement – part of the victims' apartment – they took a MacBook Pro valued at $5,000 and electronic audio equipment, including a Moog Grandmother synthesizer, valued at $3,100 in total. They then fled on foot, the report said.

"The victims, a 30-year-old male and a 35-year-old male, were asleep on the 1st floor and there was no contact between them and the unidentified males," police said.
