BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — New York State Rep. Annette Robinson, who has served as Bed-Stuy's representative in the State Assembly for nearly 15 years, will on Saturday endorse Community Board 3 chair and community coffee-shop founder Tremaine Wright as her replacement, Patch has learned.
The endorsement will take place at 10 a.m. on April 16 at Restoration Plaza, located at 1360 Fulton Street, according to the Wright campaign.
Robinson and Wright will reportedly be joined State Senator Velmanette Montgomery; Public Advocate Letitia James; Councilman Robert E. Cornegy, Jr.; and the Vanguard Independent Democratic Association (VIDA).
The Democratic primary vote for Robinson's seat is scheduled for Sept. 13. The general election will take place on Nov. 8.
