The Brooklyn Prom & Scholarship Project is Back!
An annual event that gives away prom dresses, prom accessories, skin, haircare and makeup advice to young girls getting ready for prom!
Do you know of a high school senior in or around the Bed-Stuy area in need of a dress for her upcoming 2012 Prom?
If so, the Brooklyn Prom & Scholarship Project wants to invite her to its 3rd Annual Prom Dress Give Away this Saturday, May 19, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at M.S. 35, the Stephen Decatur Middle School at 272 MacDonough Street (between Lewis and Marcus Garvey).
For the past two months, the Brooklyn Prom & Scholarship Project has collected social occasion dresses, shoes and accessories to distribute to Brooklyn teens in need of attire for this year's prom.

Registration to this event is required. Student ID required to participate, and one parent or guardian per student will be allowed to enter.

Also on Saturday, May 19, open only to a limited number of students (not announced widely) the Brooklyn Prom & Scholarship Project will hold a special prom workshop at the House of Art, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., that will include presentations on "healthy hair, skincare, beauty and image. The program includes a of some goodies to the students.
