Brooklyn Traffic Cop Posed As Real Cop to Solicit Oral Sex: DA

Isaiah Delvalle, 27, allegedly flashed a fake badge and carried a "walkie talkie" to convince prostitutes he was a police officer.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — An NYPD traffic agent has been accused of posing as a police officer to force prostitutes into providing free sexual services.

One of these prostitutes then gave the traffic agent away, according to the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office, by spitting onto a piece of cardboard after he ejaculated in her mouth and handing over the DNA sample to a (real) NYPD detective.

Isaiah Delvalle, 27, was arrested in East New York on the afternoon of March 18, court records show.

He was charged with 12 crimes, including criminal impersonation of an officer and sexual misconduct.

A deposition provided to Patch by the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office alleges that Delvalle first posed as a police officer to solicit oral sex late last year — then pulled off the same stunt again in January.

In the first instance, Delvalle allegedly approached a woman near the intersection of Wortman Avenue and Pine Street in East New York and offered to pay for oral sex.

After the woman agreed, Delvalle displayed “a badge from a chain on his neck” and told the woman she “would be arrested” if she didn’t go through with the act, the deposition says.

Delvalle allegedly struck a second time near the intersection of Stanley Avenue and Essex Street, also in East New York — again, by approaching a woman and offering to pay for oral sex.

When she agreed, he showed her a badge, “a walkie talkie,” and “what appeared to be a firearm in his waistband,” the deposition says. Delvalle allegedly claimed he was a police officer and threatened to arrest her if she didn’t complete the arrangement.

Delvalle then "placed his penis in the informant's mouth and did ejaculate in the informant's mouth," the deposition says.

That final act may have been his downfall. Because after he ejaculated, according to the DA's Office, his victim spat onto a piece of cardboard and gave the DNA sample to police.

On Feb. 16, an undercover NYPD officer struck up a conversation with Delvalle and joined him at a restaurant. The officer nabbed a straw he used, the deposition says, which provided a DNA sample matching the previous one provided to police.

The NYPD did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the case.

Delvalle’s public defender, Rob Reither with Brooklyn Defender Services, could not immediately be reached for comment Tuesday afternoon.

However, Delvalle denied the allegations against him Monday when speaking to a reporter from the Daily News.

“No, none of that is true,” he told the paper. “Those girls are crazy. This is what they do when they don’t get what they want.”

According to the News, Delvalle was released Monday after posting $10,000 bail. He is due back in Brooklyn Criminal Court on March 24, court records show.
