Grigots in Concert, named after the French word for an oral storyteller of West Africa, is led by Dr. Linda H. Humes, the founder of Yaffa Cultural Arts, and Sanga of the Valley, a master percussionist who has shared the stage with big names like the Grateful Dead and Carlos Santana.

Herbert Von King Cultural Arts Center recently reopened after a lengthy $7 million renovation. The center is now home to a fully rebuilt theater, community space and a brand new media lab.
