A fire broke out in the basement of a brownstone on Decatur Street between Stuyvesant Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard Saturday afternoon.
About 60 firefighters using 12 firetrucks battled the blaze at 317 Decatur St., which was called in at 3:53 p.m. There were no injuries from the fire, which was under control by 4:23 p.m., an FDNY spokesman said.
