Man Robbed Bed-Stuy Bank With Note, Cops Say

The man demanded cash from a teller, took the money and fled, police said.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — Police are seeking a man who robbed a Bedford-Stuyvesant bank with a note on Saturday afternoon. The man went into the Roosevelt Bank at 1268 Broadway around 1:32 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash, the NYPD said.

He fled from Broadway toward Greene Avenue after taking an unknown amount of money, police said.

The robber has white hair, stands 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-6 and weighs 200 to 230 pounds, police said. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black T-shirt, dark-colored jeans and white sneakers.
