Man Shot To Death At Bed-Stuy Playground, Police Say

The 29-year-old died after being shot in the head, police said.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — A man was shot and killed at a Bedford-Stuyvesant playground early Friday morning, police said. Cops found the unidentified 29-year-old with a gunshot wound to his head around 1:40 a.m. at the Eleanor Roosevelt Playground at 980 Dekalb Ave., the NYPD said.

The unconscious man was taken to Woodhull Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

No one has been arrested in connection with the crime and police continue to investigate. The NYPD is withholding the name of the victim until his family is notified.
