Man Violently Rapes 52-Year-Old Woman in Brooklyn, Knocks Out Her Teeth: NYPD
The victim was raped at gunpoint near the border of Bed-Stuy, Clinton Hill and Prospect Heights, police say.

A brutal assault and rape on Lefferts Place near Putnam Street, in southeast Bed-Stuy, sent a 52-year-old woman to the hospital early Monday morning, says the NYPD.
The unidentified attacker is described by police as a black man in his late 30s with a muscular build.
Police say that on Monday, Aug. 17, at approximately 3 a.m., ”the suspect met the 52 year-old female victim in the vicinity of Putnam Street and ordered her to follow him under the threat of being shot.”

“The victim followed the suspect to a building on Lefferts Place where he proceeded to assault her and push his fingers down her throat. The suspect then removed the victim’s underwear and raped her near an outside staircase leading to a basement. The victim lost two teeth in the attack and was transported to an area hospital where she is listed in stable condition.”
The NYPD isn’t releasing the exact location of the attack, as it is ”sensitive to the victim,” says a department spokesperson. However, police say it occurred very near to Bed-Stuy’s border with Clinton Hill and Prospect Heights.

Police have released the following video of the suspect, in hopes that a member of the public will recognize him.
