MTA Alert: Weekend and Holiday Service Changes

Planned services changes for the A, C, G and J Lines

Bed-Stuy residents, if you plan on taking the subway this weekend, check out the following important service changes on MTA lines that run through the neighborhood. Read carefully to make sure you are prepared.

WEEKEND & HOLIDAY SCHEDULE:

The A Line

Find out what's happening in Bed-Stuyfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

Beginning 12:01 a.m., Saturday, February 18 until 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, 207 St-bound A trains run via the F from Jay St-MetroTech to W 4 St, then local to 59 St

Also, beginning 12:01 a.m., Saturday, February 18 until 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, A trains run local in both directions between 145 St and 168 St

The C Line*

Find out what's happening in Bed-Stuyfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

Beginning at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, February 18 until 11:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, no C trains between 145 St and 168 St – Take the A instead
(A trains run local between 145 St and 168 St).

Also beginning at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, February 18 until 11:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, downtown C trains skip 50, 23 and Spring Sts, and uptown C trains run via the F from Jay St-MetroTech to W 4 St

The G Line

At all times until Spring 2012, G trains skip Smith-9 Sts in both directions. Use bus service to/from 4 Av-9 St or Carroll St instead.

Also, all times until Spring 2012, Church Av-bound G trains skip 15 St-Prospect Park and Fort Hamilton Pkwy

The J Line

Beginning at 4:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18 until 10:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, Queens-bound J trains skip Kosciuszko St, Gates Av, Halsey St and Chauncey St
