Nominate an Outstanding Bed-Stuy Senior!

Do you know a senior who is making a difference in Bedford-Stuyvesant?  

Perhaps he or she is a special volunteer at a church, hospital, senior center or nonprofit group? Or maybe that person has been a leader helping to improve services for seniors or other Bed-Stuy residents?  

If so, consider nominating that person as a Bedford Stuyvesant Outstanding Senior, sponsored by the Coalition for the Improvement of Bedford-Stuyvesant. 

The chosen nominees will be inducted at a special luncheon to launch the Bed-Stuy Aging Improvement District in April 2012. The "Outstanding Senior" awards will be presented for outstanding contributions in Service and Leadership.
