Permits Filed For New 16 Family Building In Bed-Stuy
Filed earlier in October, the permits look to build a five-story building on Lexington Avenue.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A car mechanic shop will soon experience a growth spurt, according to permits filed with the Department of Buildings.
The permits, filed for 114 Lexington Ave., between Classon and Franklin Avenues, call for expanding the one-story structure to five-stories, with 16 residential units.
Designed by Queens-based ARC Architecture + Design Studio, the lot is owned by Ariel Shalom through his corporation, Le Capital NYC, according to the permit, and will be built according to quality housing standards with an elevator and recreation space on the roof.

According to the website Newyorkyimby.com, the total residential space will be about 17,500 square feet, giving each of the 16 condos just under 1,100 square feet each, with 10 enclosed parking spots.
