The price of petroleum continues to drop, just as predicted: As of Saturday, May 28, the price of regular gas dropped 6 cents more, from $4.09, to $4.03.
This is great news for those traveling during the Memorial Day holiday, as city residents head out to the beach and parks to bar-b-que.
Clearly the downward trend is in full effect. However, one patron at the pump said the price still is not low enough, and he will not feel comfortable until he sees the prices approach the three-dollar mark.

"This is a constant thing we have to do is fill our tank, if you're a regular driver," said Donald Benette. He filled his tank for $54, even with the lower price, and said he has to fill it 2-3 times a week. "I mean, the insurance prices are outrageous already, if you want to get onto something. So until it drops a little more, it's not going to make that much of a difference."
