Police Blotter: Girl Falls From Window
A spot roundup of police activity in the 79th and 81st Precincts

Robbery at Gunpoint:
On Monday, July 11, at approximately 8:30 pm, police units were called to the scene following reports of a robbery at gunpoint of a corrections officer at Madison Street and Ralph Avenue, on the border of Bed-Stuy and Bushwick, but within the confines of the 81st Pct.
Additional units were called in, including police helicopters to do a flyover check of rooftops and yards. However, the perpetrator was not captured according to NYPD spokesman. The investigation is ongoing.

Window Fall:
An 18-year-old female was transported to Kings County Hospital in critical condition yesterday after she fell four stories from a six-story building located at 729 Lafayette Avenue at approximately 4:00pm. 79th Pct police and emergency units were called to the scene after someone called to reported the girl had fallen, was no longer breathing and had no pulse. The cause of the fall is not explained, and police are awaiting more information surrounding the girl's condition.
