Seven-Story Condo Complex To Replace Bed-Stuy Warehouse: Report
The building would bring 83 new homes to the Bed-Stuy and Williamsburg border, YIMBY reports.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A new condo building might replace a warehouse in north Bed-Stuy, according to reports.
Developers have filed permits for a seven-story residential building at the 22 Skillman St. site, which is found between Flushing and Park avenues, YIMBY New York first reported.
The building will bring 83 residences, likely condos, to the Bed-Stuy and South Williamsburg border, according to the outlet.

The new complex will be 70-feet tall and have 115,580 square feet of residential space and 42 enclosed parking spaces, YIMBY reports. Each residential unit will average round 1,392 square feet.
Zelig Weiss — a well-known developer currently tangled in a legal battle over the William Vale Hotel — is listed as the owner behind the application, YIMBY reports.

The Brooklyn developer just this week made an offer to buy the fancy Williamsburg hotel, which he co-developed with Yoel Goldman, according to the Real Deal. Weiss is facing a lawsuit alleging that he diverted money from the William Vale.
