Film Series, Live Jazz And Music in Prospect Park Highlight Fun Week
What's happening this week in Bed-Stuy.

1. Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium presents, as part of BSRC's "Summer Presenting Series", free live jazz Tuesday at 6 p.m. on restoration's west plaza opposite Applebee's Restaurant, 1368 Fulton Street. Saxophonist Reggie Woods with organist Greg Lewis, drummer-Willard Dyson and trumpeter Riley Mullins will be playing through the night.
2. Simplicity Wine Bar & Cafe hosts the 'Hot Enough For Ya?' mini film series to benefit 400 MacDonough St Block Association. The series begins Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. with 'Wattstax'. A $5 donation is requested.
3. The Turner Syndrome Foundation will be holding its first New York patient workshop Friday at Montefiore Medical Center beginning at noon.
4. On Wednesday at 7 p.m., the 79th Pct. Police Community Council Meeting takes place at the Job Corps Center located at 585 Dekalb Ave.
5. In nearby Prospect Park, there will be live music all Monday night at The Way Station, 683 Washington Ave.
