U.S. Minorities Reach a Tipping Point
What do you think are the implications of this change for America?

The Census Bureau announced Thursday that most of the newborn babies in the United States belong to minority groups-- that is, minority births have now become the majority.
Minorities—including Hispanics, blacks, Asiansand those of mixed race—accounted for 50.4 percent of all U.S. births during the 12-month period that ended last July, edging past non-Hispanic whites who made up 49.6 percent.
