Video: Man Fleeing Cops Leaps From Overpass To Roof In Brooklyn
"Don't do it man, it's not worth it!" onlookers yelled moments before the man flung himself from the elevated subway tracks to a roof.

BROOKLYN, NY — Dramatic video caught the moment a man in Brooklyn climbed a pole onto elevated subway tracks and flung himself onto a nearby roof to escape police on Wednesday, according to police and the video.
The man — hanging onto a J/M platform above Broadway in Williamsburg — flew through the air over a crowd of onlookers and onto the roof of a business across the sidewalk just after 4 p.m. as police scrambled below, according to the NYPD and video.
"Don't do it man, it's not worth it!" onlookers yelled moments before he let go of the platform.

The "pulse-pounding" encounter came moments after police had tried to pull over the man — identified as 25-year-old Kendall Floyd — while he was driving a block away near Humboldt Street and Debevoise streets, police said.
Instead, Floyd flung his car door open, hitting an officer in the arm and leg, and ran from police, cops said.

He was found moments later climbing the stanchion pole near Broadway and Thornton Street.
Floyd, who is from Queens, was rushed to the hospital with a leg injury and is in stable condition, police said. He was charged with assault on a police officer, reckless endangerment, false personation, criminal trespass, official misconduct, disorderly conduct and a seatbelt violation, according to police.
The officer who was hurt from the car door was also taken to the hospital in stable condition, police said.
