Watch: Bed-Stuy Gunman Opens Fire on Howard Avenue
The victim was shot several times by a man in an American-flag bandanna, but is now in stable condition, according to the NYPD.
BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — Police are on the hunt for an unidentified male gunman who was caught on tape shooting a 25-year-man multiple times on Howard Avenue Monday night.
The victim was standing in front of 169 Howard Avenue, police said, when the suspect exited a car and started shooting at him.

Then, when the wounded victim attempted to escape, the suspect chased him southbound on Howard, all the while still firing bullets, according to the NYPD.
The suspect fled the scene in an unknown vehicle, police said.

The victim was struck in his torso and left leg, and was transported to Brookdale Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.
Detectives described the suspect as having a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing all-black clothing and an American-flag bandanna tied across his face, police said.
