Accomplishments: Tremayne Rollins is the recipient of the 2010 AUDELCO "Rising Star" Award. He is a dancer, an actor and an all-around performing artist. Tremayne has recently been featured in the "Let's Move" initiative led by First Lady Michelle Obama and starring Beyonce. Currently, he is rehearsing for the stage play “God of Grandma," which will be showcased at the Black Spectrum Theatre in May, and he performs at Madison Square Garden as part of the New York Knicks City Kids Dancers and Liberty Lil Torches.

He has appeared in The Juilliard School's Production of  “A Raisin in the Sun," as Travis Younger; in “SEED,” as Che-Che, by Radha Blank; and in “Phreaks,” as Bobby, by Nic Grell. He also has appeared in television commercials, including, Friendlys, US Census, Bank of America and KidzBop. In addition, he has appeared on popular television shows Sesame Street, 30 Rock and The Electric Company.

Key to Awesomeness: Tremayne's passion for the arts continues as he fuels that flame with focus and continued studies in theater techniques, ballet, tap, jazz and modern dance. He studies at the Youth Arts Academy at the Bedford-Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation. He says that, "In 5 years, I'm looking to be the biggest thing on TV and on Broadway."

Tremayne recently was accepted into LaGaurdia High School, where he will begin his studies in Fall 2011. Tremayne’s love for the arts motivates him to support others, as he often fundraises for organizations that help his peers capture their own dreams.
