Teen Completes Trail in Goldens Bridge, Art Center Open House
And why not stop by the Katonah Art Center's Open House on Sunday?
1. Check out new trail: A.J. Goncalves completes Eagle Scout Project
At a recent K-L school board meeting, A.J. Goncalves shared a photo slideshow of his Eagle Scout project. His work stands to benefit many—he led the effort to renovate the trail from Increase Miller to the outdoor classroom and then expand the trail to continue and connect to Fox Valley Park. The new path includes an outdoor nature classroom and facilitates locals who want to walk or bike to school. It also gives parents of younger siblings who don't play sports yet something to do while older brothers and sisters practice and play games! The project is impressive in scope and we've included the whole slide show here. Get out and see it if you can.
