Chabad Bedford Is Ready To Host A Community-wide Chanukah Celebration This Sunday

The eight-day, Jewish "festival of lights" begins at sundown on Dec. 14, and it all gets started at the Bedford Library.

BEDFORD, NY — With the first night of Chanukah right around the corner, Chabad of Bedford announced that it will be holding a holiday celebration on Sunday, Dec. 14, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Families are invited to the Bedford Village Green and the Historical Hall, to enjoy music, games, and holiday treats.

Participants can meet at the Bedford Library at 3 p.m. for the Village Walk, and follow the map to collect dreidels, gelt and gifts. The menorah will be lit at 4 p.m. Latkes and suvganiot will be available at the Historical Hall.
