On Springhurst Road in Bedford, A NYSEG crewman was untangling electrical lines by hand. Cottage Terrace in Bedford Hills was completely closed, littered with tree branches and debris from the storm. A thick power line lay across a lonely stretch of Guard Hill Road, draped across a stone wall.
