NORTH SALEM, NY — Yet another new chance for renters to combat the ongoing affordable housing crisis is here for a household meeting income requirements.
The Town of North Salem has announced that it is accepting applications for a moderate income housing (MIH) rental unit located at 2 East Cross Street in Croton Falls.
The two-bedroom, one-bathroom, first floor unit is described as "well maintained" and "spacious." It has off-street parking and is located near the Croton Falls Metro-North station. The apartment is zoned for the North Salem Central School District.

Applicants must be income-eligible and meet other qualifications, according to the town.
The minimum household income is $63,240. The maximum household incomes by household size, based on AMI are:

- 3-person household: $84,350
- 4-person household: $93,700
The unit is not available to single individuals.

The deadline for applications is July 1, at 2 p.m.
