Police Investigate Fraudulent Drug Prescriptions

Bedford police are investigating an alleged phony prescription purchase that took place Jan. 13th and 14th at the pharmacy located within in Mt. Kisco.
Employees of the pharmacy reported the incident on Jan. 16 to Bedford police. They said that they had received prescriptions for several controlled substances including Hydrocodone pills from an online prescription site typically accessed by physicians.

A prescription was picked up from an individual on Jan. 13. The individual returned on Jan. 14, the employees told police, triggering their suspicions that they were not medically prescribed by a doctor. Upon researching the matter, the employees discovered the individual may have had unauthorized access to the online prescription drug site. Police are continuing to investigate the matter.
Goldens Bridge man charged with DWI

Jerman Reyes, 21, of Goldens Bridge, was arrested on Jan. 11 after police observed his car weaving across the yellow lines on Bedford Road in Katonah.
Police said they approached the car and noticed that Reyes had red, watery eyes and they also detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from the car. Reyes failed field sobriety tests and was taken to police headquarters for processing. There, he took a breathalyzer test which revealed he had a .08 BAC. He was charged with DWI over .08 BAC, making an unsafe lane change and driving with tinted windows.
Police make three driving arrests
- On Jan 12 Carl Carsten Skov, a 46 year old Mamaroneck resident, was charged with second degree aggravated unlicensed operation with three or more suspensions and using a cell phone. He was released on $100 bail pending a return to town court.
- Jan 13, Chad Miller, a 40 year old South Salem resident, was charged with third degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a car and driving with defective brake lights after being found two have two active suspensions. He was released without bail pending an appearance in town court.
- On Jan. 15, Christopher Marshall, a 21 year old male from Stamford, was charged with third degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a car and driving without a registration- 21 year old male from Stamford CT LPR hit suspended license and reg, on 172 near Bayberry, $100 bail.
Police investigate credit card fraud
MTC Limousine in Bedford Hills reported that from September through January one of their company credit cards has been used without their authorization. Over $3,000 verified charges were made. The investigation is ongoing.
