Bedford Plans for Snow Removal

Public Works Commissioner Kevin Winn and the entire highway department are prepared for a long night ahead to keep Bedford's 140 miles of roads cleared.

Highway crews are already out operating 50 pieces of equipment in the town of Bedford, keeping roads salted, plowed and cleared as quickly as the snow is starting to fall.

Crews are expected to work through the night, according to Kevin Winn, public works commissioner.

Bedford has approximately 140 miles of local and state roads to clear. The town works alongside state highway crews, who plow Routes 117 in Bedford Hills and Route 22.
