Bedford Police: $900 in Cash, Machete Stolen from Vehicle

A briefcase, a checkbook, a machete, a passport, $900 in cash and two checks were stolen from a locked vehicle that was parked in a storage lot on Norm Avenue in Bedford Hills, officials say.

Bedford Police are investigating the incident, which occurred sometime between the evening of April 12 and the morning of April 15.

Officials say the vehicle was a work truck, and there was damage to the lock on the driver's side door.
