Bedford Police Make Arrest in Katonah Avenue Larceny

Officials have yet to recover the $2,800-item.

A 25-year-old Pawling man is facing a fourth-degree grand larceny charge in connection with the March 4 larceny at Jems jewelry store, according to authorities.

Officials at the Bedford Police Department say Jeffrey Justin Deveaugh was processed on that felony Thursday. He is reportedly at the Westchester County Jail—where he was already incarcerated—on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond bail.

That's along with any bail he may be facing in connection with a theft in Mount Kisco. Officials from that police department arrested him earlier this month and sent him to the correctional facility pending a future court appearance. Additional details about the case were uavailable.

Officials say the complainant in the Bedford case was able to identify Deveaugh, in a photo array, as the person in the store when the crime occurred.

Police have yet to recover the bracelet, which is valued at $2,800.
