The information below was provided by the Bedford Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

A City Island man was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal trespassing after Bedford residents came downstairs the morning of Feb. 28 and found him sleeping on a couch in their home on Brook Farm Road.

Bedford police responded to the residence at 6:55 am. after the homeowners reported finding Samuel Fisher, 22, who had apparently entered the home during the night via an unlocked sliding glass door in the kitchen.

Police said Fisher appeared to be highly intoxicated and unaware of his surroundings. They brought him back to headquarters where he was processed and later released on $250 bail pending a return to town court.

Katonah Youths Resist Arrest

A pair of Katonah teenagers were arrested on Feb. 29 after an altercation with police near the intersection of Edgemont Road and The Parkway in Katonah.

Police said they observed a young man and woman standing outside of their car, which was partially blocking the roadway. They approached the pair, who were apparently having a heated argument.

The two youths, both 18, became uncooperative when police tried to break up their argument and relieve the traffic hazard. When asked for identification, the male became aggressive, yelled at police and did not produce the ID. He started to fight police officers and take an "aggressive stance." The officer tasered the young man at the scene and placed him into handcuffs.

At that time, the young woman became aggressive and was subsequently arrested. The pair were both charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. They were brought to police heaquarters where they were offered medical treatment; both refused. The youths were released on $100 bail pending a return to town court.
