1. Shop at Whole Foods to support Westchester Land Trust

Shop at tomorrow, January 10th, and 5 percent of your purchase will support Candace Schafer said the WLT was "delighted to be chosen as Whole Foods community partner for its 5 percent day," and representatives from the WLT will be at the store greeting customers and sharing information about our great work in the county.

2. Planning board hears from Splash

Tonight the planning board meets and will hear the latest plans from the owners of who plan to set up shop at the former Carvel site on Route 117 near Valerio Court. Meanwhile for Russell Speeders to take over Splash's current site.

3. BHNA annual meeting

Author, dog trainer and Patch columnist will be at tomorrow for Come visit as Whoopsie Daisy, the reading dog, and Bunny Wunny pay a visit. Children can either read to the animals or simply sit back and cuddle them as Hodgson reads.

5. Plans for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day?
