British Singer Natasha Bedingfield Buys A $1.44M Home In Bedford

BEDFORD, NY — If you had your heart set on buying the $1.44 million Mianus Bluff Drive colonial set on 5.57 acres in Bedford, first put on the market in April, you're too late.

British singer/songwriter Natasha Bedingfield and her husband, businessman Matt Robinson, beat you to it, according to the New York Post.

Bedingfield is probably best known in the U.S. for her hit songs, "Pocketful of Sunshine" released in 2007 and 2004's "Unwritten," which was the theme song for MTV's reality show, "The Hills."

Property records show that the house, built in 1994, was sold on July 28, with the closing date listed as August 2.

The listing, by Diane Hackert and Valerie Stangaron of Coldwell Banker Realty, describes the property as a "private oasis with unmatched views." Melissa Marcogliese and Sari Shaw of Compass Greater NY, LLC represented the buyers.

In addition to the 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom, 5,618-sq.-ft. main house on a cul-de-sac, the 5.57-acre estate with panoramic mountain views also includes a three-car attached garage, two-car detached parking, a kitchen that opens to an outdoor deck, a family room with an open floor plan to the kitchen, a library/potential den, hardwood floors throughout, an 800-sq.-ft. finished basement with walkout to yard, a large deck with great views, and is close to Bedford Memorial Park.
