Cops: About $1,420 Worth of Property Stolen from Truck in Katonah

Bedford Police are investigating the theft of about $1,420 worth of property from a parked vehicle at the Harvey School in Katonah.

The incident occurred sometime between 5:30 p.m. Friday and 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Officials say several items, including a pair of $900 binoculars and a $200 knife, were taken from a 2008 Toyota pickup truck.

While the vehicle was locked, the complainant reportedly found a window ajar. 

Police are continuing their investigation.
